Brett Correll – Brett is a redshirt sophomore at UB. He started for us at heavyweight as a freshman, where he won 15 matches on the year. As a freshman, he finished 4th at the UB Open and 7th at the New York State Collegiate Tournament. As a sophomore, he was expected to start but had an early season neck injury that kept him out after just a few matches. Before the injury, he had a nice win against Hofstra where he dominated his opponent. Fun Fact: Brett is a huge hockey fan and was at game seven when his hometown team, the Detroit Red Wings, won the Stanley Cup.
James Donner – James is a true freshman at UB. He comes to UB from nearby Niagara Wheatfield High School. James was a state place-winner in high school and a Brute Adidas Sophomore National Champion. He was a member of the New York Super Six Wrestling Club during his senior year of high school. Fun Fact: James’ favorite food is eggplant parmesan.
